Abstract

1,073,019. Pressurized dispensing containers. VALVE CORPORATION OF AMERICA. Aug. 4, 1964 [Aug. 20, 1963], No. 31282/64. Heading F1R. A plastics actuator cap for an aerosol dispensing container comprises a cylindrical wall 18 and an actuator button 25, moulded with frangible connecting webs 40. When the button 25 is depressed to actuate the container valve the webs 40 are broken and act as guides for the button. In a further embodiment axially extending guides are moulded on one or other of the confronting surfaces of wall 18 and button 25. The webs 40 may join the uppermost edges of the wall and button.
