Abstract

106,095. Cusquel, A., and Goupil, H. May 1, 1916, [Convention date]. Air and gas pressure sprayers. - A sprayer for pulverizing metals which fuse below 800‹ C., particularly adapted for aluminium, comprises a central nozzle b, Fig. 1, through which the molten meltal is discharged, controlled by the needle valve c. Around this is an external nozzle h for air or inert gas the outlet of which is controlled by a screw joint i and stop screw j. The sprayer is surrounded by a chamber m, Fig. 2, provided with convergent openings o through which air or inert gas is forced in order to exert an ejector action and keep the metallic powder away from the orifices of the sprayer, thus preventing combustion and consequent explosion,
