[Also in Division C3] Printing rollers of desired hardness and tack are prepared by thoroughly mixing castor oil, tolylene diisocyanate and a plasticizer and heating the mixture with or without a polyether, polyester, polyhydrocarbon or natural resin and pouring the resulting mix into preassembled moulds, curing the cast polyurethane rollers for 3 to 4 days at room temperature removing the rollers from the moulds and finally grinding the rollers on a lathe to the desired diameter.
