Abstract
105,038. Liddell, J. A. Nov. 4, 1916. Drainage appliances.-An appliance for draining wounds consists of a rod or tube which is longitudinally ribbed or grooved externally, so that the body tissue forms part of the walls of the passage or passages by which liquid is evacuated. Figs. 2 to 5 show cross-sections of suitable constructions. The appliances are formed, preferably, of rubber.
