- Dans certains cas, ces moyens de fixation doivent être manipulés à deux mains ce qui présente un inconvénient important puisque l'utilisateur doit manipuler le moyen de fixation tout en ayant un bâton accroché à chaque main. L’accès aux moyens de déverrouillage peut ainsi être assez compliqué.
- Les moyens de fixation peuvent exiger une dextérité importante pour être manipulés, ce qui est particulièrement gênant lorsque l'utilisateur porte des gants ou lorsque les doigts sont engourdis.
- Les moyens de fixation amovibles sont parfois complexes à fabriquer.
- Les moyens de fixation amovibles sont peu robustes ou peuvent se coincer facilement. Le dispositif d'appui 1 comprend un bâton 2 et une dragonne 3 apte à être fixée de manière amovible au bâton 2. Le bâton 2 est destiné à être saisi dans la main d'un utilisateur pour prendre appui sur le sol. Il comprend une partie tubulaire 4 surmontée d'une poignée 5.
