L’invention concerne un procédé de traitement thermique de douelles (2) d’un tonneau (1) comprenant successivement les étapes suivantes, réalisées dans une enceinte étanche (10) où l’atmosphère est contrôlée, : - augmentation de la température de traitement jusqu’à une température cible Tc prédéterminée, - maintien de la température de traitement cible Tc pendant une durée D1 prédéterminée, - refroidissement et réhumidification des douelles traitées jusqu’à un taux d’humidification H1 prédéterminé.
