Abstract
L’invention a trait à un procédé de préparation d’un combustible nucléaire compacté du type oxyde mixte comprenant un premier élément actinide et un deuxième élément chimique différent dudit premier élément actinide, comprenant les étapes suivantes : a) une étape de préparation d’une poudre d’oxyde dudit premier élément actinide comprenant les opérations suivantes : *une opération de préparation d’une solution sol-gel comprenant des colloïdes à base dudit premier élément actinide par mise en contact d’un nitrate dudit premier élément actinide avec au moins un acide aminé, la mise en contact s’effectuant à un pH allant de 3 à 6 ; *une opération de lyophilisation de ladite solution obtenue en a), moyennant quoi il résulte une pâte ; *une opération de traitement thermique de ladite pâte obtenue en b) à une température efficace pour former ladite poudre d’oxyde dudit premier élément actinide ; b) une étape d’imprégnation de ladite poudre par une solution comprenant ledit deuxième élément chimique ; c) une étape de mise en forme pour former un objet compacté ; d) une étape de traitement thermique dudit objet compacté, moyennant quoi il résulte le combustible nucléaire compacté.The invention relates to a process for preparing a compacted nuclear fuel of the mixed oxide type comprising a first actinide element and a second chemical element different from said first actinide element, comprising the following steps: a) a step of preparing a oxide powder of said first actinide element comprising the following operations: *an operation of preparing a sol-gel solution comprising colloids based on said first actinide element by bringing a nitrate of said first actinide element into contact with at least one amino acid, contacting taking place at a pH ranging from 3 to 6; *a freeze-drying operation of said solution obtained in a), whereby a paste results; *a heat treatment operation of said paste obtained in b) at a temperature effective to form said oxide powder of said first actinide element; b) a step of impregnating said powder with a solution comprising said second chemical element; c) a shaping step for forming a compacted object; d) a step of heat treatment of said compacted object, whereby compacted nuclear fuel results.
