Procédé de localisation d’un dispositif de communication (20) porté par un utilisateur (21) à proximité d’un véhicule (10) afin de déclencher au moins une fonction dudit véhicule (10), ledit procédé comprenant notamment, lors d’une phase de localisation (P2), les étapes de détection (P24) d’un ensemble d’obstacles dit « courants », d’identification (P25) du dispositif de communication dans l’ensemble d’obstacles courants et de localisation (P26) du dispositif de communication (20) identifié parmi les obstacles de l’ensemble d’obstacles (30).
