Abstract

L’invention a pour objet un joint axial (17) comprenant un élément de rotor (1) apte à tourner autour d’un axe (AX), un élément de stator (3) portant un organe mobile (6) en translation selon l’axe (AX) avec des moyens de la position de l’organe mobile (6), l’élément de rotor (1) comprenant une face (2) normale à l’axe (AX), l’organe mobile (6) comprenant une face (7) normale à l’axe (AX) en vis-à-vis de la face (2) du rotor (1), les faces (2, 7) du rotor (1) et du stator (3) entourant l’axe (AX), l’une des faces (2) portant une léchette interne (11) de révolution et une léchette externe (12) de révolution s’étendant autour de la léchette interne (11) pour délimiter avec l’autre face (7) un espace annulaire (EA). L’organe mobile (6) comporte un injecteur (13) alimenté en air pour pressuriser l’espace annulaire (EA) en soufflant l’air qu’il reçoit selon une direction centripète orientée vers un interstice (21) s’étendant entre une extrémité de la léchette interne (11) et la face située en vis-à-vis de l’extrémité de cette léchette (11).
