Cette composition est particulièrement utile pour la protection de surface d’un substrat, pour améliorer sa résistance au feu et aux fortes élévations de température, ainsi que pour l’assemblage de deux substrats.Disclosed is a flame retardant composition based on polymer resin, sodium silicate, calcined kaolin and calcium carbonate, in which the "calcined kaolin / calcium carbonate" weight ratio is greater than or equal to 1.5. This composition is particularly useful for the surface protection of a substrate, to improve its resistance to fire and to high temperature rises, as well as for the assembly of two substrates.
