Elément de blindage sous forme d’un corps monolithique fritté présentant une face extérieure et une face intérieure opposée dont la surface desdites faces est supérieure à 100 cm2 et l’épaisseur moyenne Em entre lesdites faces est supérieure à 4 mm, ledit corps étant caractérisé en ce que sur au moins une portion de ladite face extérieure est texturée de telle façon que Ai décroit partant de la face intérieure à partir d’une valeur de i supérieure à au moins 50, A75 ≥ 0,2 × A0 et A95 < 0,9 × A0, Ai étant l'aire occupée par le seul matériau selon un plan i de section interne à l'épaisseur intermédiaire Ei et i correspondant en pourcentage à la fraction de ladite épaisseur moyenne Em au plan i.
