Abstract

La présente invention concerne un nouveau monomère sulfobétaïne, et son procédé de préparation, avantageusement par réaction entre un composé vinyl-amine et un composé vinyl-acide sulfonique, préférentiellement en présence d’un agent solubilisant. La présente invention concerne également les (co)polymères obtenus à partir de ce nouveau type de monomère sulfobétaïne, et leur utilisation, par exemple comme floculant, dispersant, agent épaississant, agent absorbant ou agent réducteur de friction.
