Abstract

The invention relates to a frame (1) for furniture equipment, said frame (1) comprising a frame (5) comprising two vertical uprights (10), an upper crosspiece (20) and a lower crosspiece (30), each vertical upright (10) comprising a lower end (11) and an upper end (13), the upper crosspiece (30) connecting the upper ends (13) of the vertical uprights (10), the lower crosspiece (11) being arranged under the upper crosspiece (30) and connecting the lower ends (11) of the vertical uprights (10), the frame (1) being characterized in that it comprises a flexible canvas (40) made of a textile material fixed on the upper crosspiece (20) and on the lower crosspiece (30) of the frame (5) and comprising at least in its central part a double-thickness zone in which a light plate (50) is mounted. Description

Light frame for furniture equipment

The present invention relates to the field of furniture and more particularly concerns a luminous frame for furniture equipment.

The use of furniture equipment such as terrace dividers, benches or flower boxes is widespread.

For example, it is known to use rigid barriers to separate spaces. These barriers are generally made of wood or metal. It is particularly known to use terrace dividers, also called side blinds. These dividers generally have two posts between which a stretched rigid awning fabric or a rigid woven polyethylene fabric is attached. The stretched fabric must be able to be rolled up to store the awning and is generally not suitable for displaying. The rigid woven polyethylene fabric is generally attached by hooks and can hardly be used as a display support due to the fabric's braiding.

Furthermore, a bench is known to include a seat supported by legs. It is known to use benches with or without a backrest. A bench with a backrest includes a backrest to allow the user to rest their back against said backrest. It is known to manufacture benches whose backrest is made of a flexible canvas. However, these benches do not offer any other advantages.

Similarly, flower boxes are also widely used but their use is generally limited to planting.

There is therefore a need for a simple and effective solution to at least partially overcome these drawbacks.

For this purpose, the invention firstly relates to a frame for furniture equipment, said frame comprising a frame comprising two vertical uprights, an upper crosspiece and a lower crosspiece, each vertical upright comprising a lower end and an upper end, the upper crosspiece connecting the upper ends of the vertical uprights, the lower crosspiece being arranged under the upper crosspiece and connecting the lower ends of the vertical uprights, the frame being remarkable in that it comprises a flexible canvas made of a textile material fixed to the upper crosspiece and to the lower crosspiece of the frame and comprising at least in its central part a double-thickness zone in which a light plate is mounted.

The frame according to the invention is easy to manufacture and mount on furniture equipment. The frame according to the invention makes it possible to create a light source for furniture equipment, particularly urban furniture, such as terrace dividers, benches or flower boxes.

In one embodiment, the canvas is fixed to the two vertical uprights.

In one embodiment, the canvas is fixed to the frame so as to extend down the center of the frame, leaving the vertical uprights exposed, the top crosspiece exposed, and the bottom crosspiece exposed.

In one embodiment, the canvas surrounds the upper crossbar in order to envelop it and hide it to protect it, in particular from rain.

In one embodiment, the canvas surrounds the lower cross member in order to envelop and conceal it to protect it, in particular from rain.

In one embodiment, the canvas surrounds the vertical uprights in order to envelop and conceal them to protect them, in particular from rain.

When the canvas surrounds the vertical uprights, the top rail and the bottom rail, the frame is completely covered with canvas and thus protected.

Preferably, the canvas delimits at least on one of its faces at least one through opening formed, for example by cutting, in particular laser, in the thickness of said face at right angles to the light plate.

Advantageously, the canvas delimits on each of its two faces at least one through opening formed in the thickness of said face at right angles to the light plate.

Preferably, the canvas delimits at least on one of its faces, preferably on both of its faces, a plurality of through openings formed in the thickness of said face in line with the light plate, said through openings forming characters and/or patterns in order to allow, for example, the display of a brand or a logo.

In one embodiment, the at least one opening is rectangular in shape.

Advantageously, the luminous plate comprises at least one character and/or at least one pattern, for example printed or screen-printed, on at least one of the faces of said luminous plate.

In one embodiment, the textile material is translucent or transparent to allow the light emitted by the light plate to pass through.

The invention also relates to a terrace separator, said separator comprising two vertical masts provided with feet and a frame as presented previously fixed between said vertical uprights.

The terrace divider according to the invention makes it possible to separate a terrace while producing light, in particular to allow for a display.

In one embodiment, the legs have a circular or square shape.

The invention also relates to a bench with a backrest, said bench comprising a seat, legs and a backrest, said backrest comprising a frame as presented previously.

In one embodiment, the vertical uprights of the frame are each mounted on a structural member of the bench, said structural member being able to be a rear leg of the bench extending above the seat or a beam fixed on the rear upper part of the seat and extending upwards.

The invention also relates to a flower box, said box comprising a base and a peripheral wall delimiting an internal space, the box comprising a frame as presented previously mounted on the upper part of the peripheral wall.

In reference to the FIG. 2 , the frame 1 comprises a frame 5 comprising two vertical uprights 10, an upper crosspiece 20, a lower crosspiece 30.

In reference to the FIG. 1 , frame 1 includes a canvas 40 and a light plate 50.

Each vertical upright 10 comprises a lower end 11 and an upper end 13.

The upper crosspiece 20 connects the upper ends 13 of the vertical uprights 10. The lower crosspiece 30 is arranged under the upper crosspiece 20 and connects the vertical uprights 10 above the feet 12, substantially in the middle of the vertical uprights 10 in this example, so as to form a frame.

The canvas 40 is flexible and is made of a textile material. The canvas 40 can for example be sewn on certain portions to fix it to the frame 5, for example along the portions of each vertical upright 10.

In the example of the FIG. 1 , the canvas 40 is fixed on the inside of the two vertical uprights 10, of the upper crosspiece 20 and of the lower crosspiece 30 so that the frame 5 is visible.

In the example of the FIG. 2 , the canvas 40 surrounds each vertical upright 10, the upper crosspiece 20 and the lower crosspiece 30 (visible in dotted lines) to envelop and hide them.

The canvas 40 has in its central part a double-thickness zone in which is mounted a luminous plate 50 (illustrated in dotted lines on the FIG. 1 ). In other words, the light plate 50 is mounted between the two thicknesses of the double-thickness zone of the canvas 40.

The canvas 40 delimits at least on one or both of its faces, at the level of the double-thickness zone and therefore at the right of the light plate 50, through openings 60, or cutouts, formed in the thickness of the textile material of the canvas 40.

These through openings 60 form characters and/or patterns allowing light from the light plate 50 to pass through in order to display, for example, a brand, a logo or information.

A battery may be mounted in the double-thickness area of the fabric 40, between the two thicknesses, to power the light plate 50, regardless of the embodiment.

In the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 3 , the frame 1 includes a solar panel 80 mounted in the double-thickness area in line with a dedicated rectangular 60A opening formed in the fabric 40.

In the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 4 , the frame 1 comprises a solar panel 80 mounted on the upper cross member 20.

The solar panel 80 makes it possible to power the light plate 50 and/or, when the separator 1 comprises a rechargeable power supply battery, to recharge said power supply battery.

In the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 5 , the canvas 40 delimits an opening 60 of rectangular shape, for example on its two faces, and the luminous plate 50 comprises printed or screen-printed characters 70.

The textile material may be translucent or transparent to allow the light emitted by the light plate to pass through. In this case, the fabric 40 may be devoid of through openings 60.

Three examples of furniture equipment comprising a frame 1 according to the invention and variants of each of them will now be described: a terrace separator 1A, a bench 1B with a backrest and a flower box 1C.

1A terrace divider

There FIG. 6 schematically illustrates an example of a terrace separator 1A comprising the frame 1 of the FIG. 1 . There FIG. 7 schematically illustrates an example of a terrace separator 1A comprising the frame 1 of the FIG. 2 .

The separator 1A comprises two masts 1A1 between which the frame 1 is mounted. Each mast comprises a foot 12. The feet 12 have a square shape in this non-limiting example.

There FIG. 8 illustrates the separator 1A of figures 6 or 7 without canvas 40, nor light plate 50 to visualize the frame 5 as described previously and its mounting on the masts 1A1.

In the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 9 , the separator 1A includes a solar panel 80 mounted in the double-thickness area in line with a dedicated rectangular opening 60A formed in the fabric 40.

In the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 10 , the separator 1A includes a solar panel 80 mounted at the top of one of the masts 1A1.

The solar panel 80 makes it possible to power the light plate 50 and/or, when the separator 1A includes a rechargeable power battery, to recharge said power battery.

In the absence of an internal battery, the separator 1A may include an electrical cable allowing the light plate 50 to be connected to an electrical network or to an external battery to power it.

In the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 11 , the canvas 40 delimits an opening 60 of rectangular shape, for example on its two faces, and the luminous plate 50 comprises printed or screen-printed characters 70.

There FIG. 12 describes an example of a separator 1A in which the fabric 40 is also wrapped around a portion of the masts 1. For example, the fabric 40 may include a sleeve on each of its side edges, which may be threaded onto a mast 1.

The textile material may be translucent or transparent to allow the light emitted by the light plate to pass through. In this case, the fabric 40 may be devoid of through openings 60.

Bench 1B with backrest

There FIG. 13 schematically illustrates an example of a bench 1B with a backrest according to the invention. The bench 1B comprises a seat 2, legs 3, structural elements 4 and a frame 1 according to the invention. In this example, the backrest 1B1 comprises the frame 1 of the FIG. 2 , but could understand the framework of the FIG. 1 in one embodiment.

There FIG. 14 shows the frame reinforcement mounted on the structural elements 4.

In the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 15 , bench 1B includes a solar panel 180 mounted in the double-thickness area in line with a dedicated rectangular 60A opening formed in the fabric 40.

In the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 16 , bench 1B includes a solar panel 80 mounted at the top of one of the vertical uprights 10.

In the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 17 , the canvas 40 delimits an opening 60 of rectangular shape, for example on its two faces, and the luminous plate 50 comprises printed or screen-printed characters 70.

There FIG. 18 describes an example of a separator 1A in which the fabric 40 is also wrapped around a portion of the structural elements 4. For example, the fabric 40 may include a sleeve on each of its side edges, which may be threaded onto a structural element 4.

The textile material may be translucent or transparent to allow the light emitted by the light plate to pass through. In this case, the fabric 40 may be devoid of through openings 60.

1C flower box

There FIG. 19 schematically illustrates a first example of a flower box 1C according to the invention. The box 1C comprises a base (not visible) and a peripheral wall 6 delimiting an internal space, the box comprising a frame 1 as presented previously with reference to the FIG. 1 , mounted on the upper part 7 of the peripheral wall 6.

There FIG. 20 schematically illustrates a second example of a flower box 1C according to the invention. The box 1C comprises a frame 1 as presented previously with reference to the FIG. 1 , mounted between two masts 9 fixed vertically on the upper part 7 of the peripheral wall 6.

The textile material may be translucent or transparent to allow the light emitted by the light plate to pass through. In this case, the fabric 40 may be devoid of through openings 60.

In other embodiments not illustrated, the tray 1C may comprise a solar panel 180 mounted in the double-thickness zone in line with a dedicated rectangular opening 60A formed in the fabric 40 or a solar panel 80 mounted at the top of one of the masts 9, or the fabric 40 may delimit an opening 60 of rectangular shape, for example on its two faces, and the light plate 50 comprises printed or screen-printed characters 70, or the fabric 40 may be wrapped around a portion of the masts 9. For example, the fabric 40 may comprise a sheath on each of its lateral edges, which may be threaded onto a mast 9.

Claims (14)

Frame (1) for furniture equipment, said frame (1) comprising a frame (5) comprising two vertical uprights (10), an upper crosspiece (20) and a lower crosspiece (30), each vertical upright (10) comprising a lower end (11) and an upper end (13), the upper crosspiece (30) connecting the upper ends (13) of the vertical uprights (10), the lower crosspiece (11) being arranged under the upper crosspiece (30) and connecting the lower ends (11) of the vertical uprights (10), the frame (1) being characterized in that it comprises a flexible canvas (40) made of a textile material fixed on the upper crosspiece (20) and on the lower crosspiece (30) of the frame (5) and comprising at least in its central part a double-thickness zone in which a light plate (50) is mounted. Frame (1) according to claim 1, in which the canvas (40) is fixed on the two vertical uprights (10). Frame (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the canvas (40) is fixed on the frame (5) so as to extend in the center of the frame (1) leaving the vertical uprights (10) visible, the upper crosspiece (20) visible and the lower crosspiece (30) visible. Frame (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the canvas (40) surrounds the upper cross member (20). Frame (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the canvas (40) surrounds the lower cross member (30). Frame (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the canvas (40) surrounds a portion of the vertical uprights (10). Frame (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the canvas (40) delimits at least on one of its faces at least one through opening (60) formed in the thickness of said face in line with the light plate (50). Frame (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the canvas (40) delimits at least on one of its faces a plurality of through openings (60) formed in the thickness of said face in line with the light plate (50), said through openings (60) forming characters and/or patterns. Frame (1) according to claim 7, wherein the at least one opening (60) is rectangular in shape. Frame (1) according to the preceding claim, in which the light plate (50) comprises at least one character and/or at least one pattern on at least one of the faces of said light plate (50). Frame (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the textile material is translucent or transparent. Terrace separator (1A), said separator (1A) comprising two vertical masts (1A1) provided with feet (12) and a frame (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, fixed between said vertical uprights (1A1). Bench (1B) with backrest, said bench (1B) comprising a seat (2), legs (3) and a backrest (1B1), said backrest (1B1) comprising a frame (1) according to any one of the preceding claims. Flower box (1C), said box (1C) comprising a base and a peripheral wall (6) delimiting an internal space, the box (1C) comprising a frame (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, mounted on the upper part (7) of the peripheral wall (6).
