Abstract
Procédé d'élimination du mercure contenu dans une charge hydrocarbonée lourde en aval d'une unité de fractionnement principal, procédé dans lequel : a) on transforme le mercure non élémentaire contenu dans les composés de ladite charge en mercure élémentaire ; b) on effectue un fractionnement de ladite charge hydrocarbonée dans une unité de fractionnement pour produire un effluent de tête comprenant du mercure élémentaire; c) on met en contact l'effluent de tête obtenu à l'étape b) avec une masse de captation au mercure comprise dans une unité de captation au mercure pour obtenir un effluent au moins partiellement démercurisé.
