Abstract

The present invention relates to a device for preventing nail biting. The device is composed of a flat and hollow necklace (100), two flat and hollow bracelets and cylindrical and flat magnets (parts 1).

Field of intervention

The present invention relates to a device for preventing nail biting.

State of the art

Currently, there is no ergonomic device to avoid nail biting.

Indeed, the existing devices have a significant discomfort and can not be used in everyday life alongside other daily activities. The inconvenience is such that users are not tempted or even dissuaded to use them.

In addition, existing devices are not offered / adaptable for all audiences. Thus, there are devices available for children that can not be used by adults, vice versa.

Finally, the current devices are not customizable for each user which constitutes an additional brake to their use.

Presentation of the invention

The present invention aims to overcome these disadvantages.

It is also an object of the present invention to provide a device for preventing nail biting more ergonomically.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a device to prevent nail biting more customizable.

Yet another purpose of this is to provide a device to prevent nail biting that can be adapted to all audiences. The invention makes it possible to achieve at least one of these objects by a device for preventing nail biting, characterized in that it comprises: a collar intended to be passed around a user's blow, and at least one bracelet intended to be passed around a wrist of said user; said collar and said at least one bracelet having magnets oriented so as to repel when said at least one bracelet is close to said collar.

Thus, when a user, wearing the necklace and bracelet on his wrist, brings his hand close to his mouth, the magnets of the necklace and bracelet repel, dissuading the user to bite their nails. Such a device according to the invention can be worn at any time, does not constitute a barrier to the exercise of daily activities, and can be adapted / customized for all users.

In a preferred version, the device according to the invention comprises two bracelets intended to be worn on both wrists of a user and each comprising one or more magnets oriented so as to repel with the magnet (s) of the collar, when said bracelet is close to said collar.

According to an exemplary embodiment, in no way limiting, the collar and / or the at least one bracelet is (are) made (s) flexible plastic and hollow.

In addition, the collar and / or the at least one bracelet may comprise at least one cylindrical and flat magnet.

In the present example, the device is composed of a collar intended to be passed around the stroke of a user and two bracelets each intended to be passed around a wrist of the user. Of course, the device according to the invention may alternatively comprise a single bracelet.

The collar 100, shown in FIGURES 1-2 comprises a flat and hollow support 102 for accommodating a plurality of magnets 104. The magnets are cylindrical and flat, and all have the same orientation.

The support 102 may be made of plastic for example. More generally, the support 102 may be made of any non-magnetic material.

FIGURE 3 is a schematic representation of an exemplary non-limiting embodiment of a bracelet of a device according to the invention, according to a view from above.

FIGURE 4 is a schematic representation of the bracelet of FIGURE 3 in a sectional view along the axis BB.

The bracelet 300, shown in FIGURES 3-4 comprises a flat and hollow support 302 for accommodating a plurality of magnets 304. The magnets are cylindrical and flat, and all have the same orientation. The orientation of the magnets 304 of the bracelet 300 is opposed to the orientation of the magnets of the collar so that they repel when brought closer to each other.

The support 302 may be made of plastic for example. More generally, the support 102 may be made of any non-magnetic material.

The magnets 104 of the collar 100 may be identical to the magnets 304 of the bracelet 300. Alternatively, the magnets 104 of the collar 100 may be different from the magnets 304 of the bracelet 300.

The support 102 of the collar 100 may be made of the same material as the support 302 of the bracelet 300. Alternatively, the support 102 of the collar 100 may be made of a material different from the support 302 of the bracelet 300.

The material of the support 102 of the collar 100 and the support 302 of the bracelet 300, perhaps of different colors and designs to please all types of people and to melt into the personality of each, even the children will have their choice as drawings of "HELLO KITTY" (registered trademark) or "SPIDERMAN" (registered trademark) so that they like and do not detach from the device.

This device is a help to stop in the long run to bite your nails, because each time the hands would approach the mouth, they will face the resistance of magnets that will indicate that it is necessary to keep hands away from the mouth and in the long run psychologically the person will stop biting their nails.

Naturally, the invention is not limited to the examples which have just been described. The architecture of the supports, the material, the shape and the number of the magnets can be different from those described.
