Abstract
The invention relates to a device for suspending or placing a flexible container filled with liquid to allow its use. It consists of a rigid support (0) having pre-cut openings for the passage of the use tubes (2) and a pre-cut hole for fixing during use (3). The device according to the invention is particularly intended for the maintenance of flexible containers for use in veterinary medicine.
Description
The present invention relates to a device for holding, suspending or placing a flexible pouch containing a liquid of a capacity greater than or equal to 5 liters and to be perfused or used directly on an animal. Soft bags used for rehydration or infusion of animals currently have a capacity of up to 5 liters. Flexible containers with a volume greater than 5 liters pose the problem of fixing and maintaining the bag during the infusion of the animal. These containers have one, two, three or four attachment eyelets to balance the weight, but users generally only have a bracket to secure the pocket to a single point of attachment. The use of a single point of attachment is insufficient for a pocket of more than 5 liters. The pouch has no hold and the infusion is complicated. The device according to the invention overcomes this disadvantage. The device for holding flexible containers filled with liquid comprises a rigid support having a pre-cut exit orifice of the use tubes and a pre-cut orifice for suspending it. One of the pre-cut orifices must have a length and width allowing the easy extraction of the tube. One of the pre-cut holes must be positioned on one side of the device facing the tubes of the flexible bag. One of the pre-cut holes must be wide enough to clear the tubes. One of the pre-cut holes must be wide enough to fix the device on hooks of varying size. One of the pre-cut holes must be at the top of the device and at a sufficient distance from the flexible container so as not to damage it during use. The surface under the hole must be flat in order to stand up. It comprises a rigid envelope of cardboard or other material, inside which the flexible container is held. This casing has a detachable portion for removing the product use tubes and a pre-cut hole for fixing the device. Its rigidity allows use suspended in 1 single point of attachment or placed on a piece of furniture allowing the flow of liquid through the (s) tube (s) of use. The attached drawings illustrate the invention. FIG. 1 represents the view of the invention. FIG. 2 represents the front view of the invention. FIG. 3 represents the back view of the invention FIG. use of the suspended invention Figure 5 shows in section the position of use of the invention placed on a support. With reference to these drawings, a flexible container of variable volume (1) is deposited in the open device (0). On the face of the device a pre-cut opening (2) allows the use tubes out of the flexible container. The location of this part will depend on the position of the tubes of the flexible container to be used. On the rear face of the device a preformed hole (3) will allow the suspension of the device in use during use, if use by suspension, the device that can be used is suspended or placed. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for the maintenance of flexible containers intended for use in veterinary medicine.
