Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à l'utilisation d'un extrait de Carpobrotus edulis en tant qu'agent cosmétique pour améliorer l'aspect de la peau par stimulation de la synthèse des protéines impliquées dans la différenciation épidermique et/ou stimulation de la transglutaminase et/ou stimulation de la synthèse de lipides membranaires par les kératinocytes. La présente invention se rapporte également à une composition cosmétique ou dermatologique comprenant un extrait de Carpobrotus edulis et un véhicule cosmétiquement et/ou dermatologiquement acceptable, ladite composition comprenant 0,0001 à 5 % en poids dudit extrait de Carpobrotus edulis par rapport au poids total de la composition, la valeur de 1 % étant exclue. Enfin, la présente invention se rapporte à un dispositif se présentant sous une forme choisie parmi un pot, un flacon-pompe, une lingette, un masque, un dispositif transdermique, un patch, un spray, une capsule ou une gélule, ledit dispositif comprenant une telle composition, ainsi qu'à un procédé cosmétique pour améliorer l'aspect de la peau, comprenant une application sur la peau d'une telle composition cosmétique, et également à une utilisation d'une telle composition dermatologique, pour son utilisation dans un produit dermatologique destiné à l'amélioration de la peau d'un sujet.The present invention relates to the use of an extract of Carpobrotus edulis as a cosmetic agent for improving the appearance of the skin by stimulating the synthesis of proteins involved in epidermal differentiation and/or stimulating transglutaminase and/or stimulating the synthesis of membrane lipids by keratinocytes.
