Description
The dermis and the epidermis are separated and connected by a very fine but extremely important structure, the dermal-epidermal junction. This one, of origin at the same time dermal and epidermic, must be able to ensure a solid and stable attachment of the epidermis to the underlying dermis. Unlike the other basal membranes of the body, it has specific attachment complexes: the hemidesmosomes, solidly fixing the epithelium through collagen fibers connected to the anchor plates. The dermo-epidermal junction also comprises specific molecular components located at anchoring complexes which play a fundamental role in maintaining the cohesion of the epidermis. [0003] Lamina densa and lamina lucida form the epidermal basal lamina. The latter makes it possible to determine cell polarity and influences cellular metabolism, organizes proteins in adjacent membranes, and can induce cell differentiation. The dermal-epidermal junction is composed of more than twenty macromolecules arranged strictly to form a very stable network. The dermo-epidermal junction intervenes at many levels for the proper functioning of the skin functions. It controls the exchange of metabolic products between the two compartments: epidermis / dermis, in particular by regulating the permeability of the basement membrane. It also plays a role in the signaling and control of the cell cycle at its junctions with epithelial cells. There are many components such as Collagens IV and VII, several types of Laminins V, VI and X, Fibronectin, Nidogene and Antactine. All these constituents have structural functions and essential for the proper functioning of the skin. With skin aging, each of the metabolisms in which they are involved takes place more slowly. In particular, it has been observed a decrease in the expression of adhesion proteins as well as those of membrane receptors, which could be the major cause of the problems of reconstitution of the dermoepidermal junction, in elderly subjects and therefore of appearance of wrinkles. Following extensive research in the field of tissue regeneration, the applicant has surprisingly and unexpectedly demonstrated that a composition containing hyaluronic acid associated with a peach extract (Prunus persica) and / or corded leaf globular (Globularia cordifolia), strengthens the dermo-epidermal junction and protects it from aging by stimulating the synthesis of collagen and laminin V. Such a composition can thus be used to correct aging problems in the skin. skin, prevent the appearance of wrinkles and reduce those already installed. The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising hyaluronic acid associated with at least one plant extract, said plant being selected from the group consisting of the peach tree (Prunus persica) and / or the globular leafed tree (Globularia cordifolia).
