Abstract
Description
Description de l'invention 1. Description of the invention 1. Technical Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a jewel (ring, bracelet, earring or necklace) made of silicone (or other polymer) with a removable metal insert (called "crimped" or "Kitten" in the field of jewelery). This removable metal insert can be set with one or more stones. 2. State of the Prior Art The stones are traditionally set directly on the jewel (ring for example) then forming an inseparable whole. It is therefore not possible to change the stone of his mount (the mount may be a ring for example) without the dessert. 3. DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION The system according to the invention makes it possible to change the stone of its mount (the frame can be a ring for example) easily in a few seconds, without the aid of any tool, glue, or other fixer. It consists of two parts: a "set closed" or "kitten" metal containing a stone and a ring. The "closed set", first of all, is a piece of metal commonly used and referred to as jewelery (A). It is a thin piece of precious metal that surrounds the housing of the stone. The sheet is folded over the entire perimeter of the stone, thus securing it to the mount. This piece, according to the invention, can then be defined in three parts. A disc (1) on which a column (2) rests, and a second bowl-shaped hollow disc (3). This hollow part encloses the stone which will be set by folding the edges of the bowl on the stone. The dimensions of these three indissociable parts, according to the invention, ensure that the "closed set" can not get rid of the ring. Thus, the first disk (1) must have a larger diameter than the second bowl-shaped disk (3). He himself must have a diameter greater than the column (2). The ring (B, C and D), meanwhile, must be silicone or any other polymer. The material used must give it elastic properties and thus facilitate the entry or exit of the "closed set". It is manufactured by compression molding or injection molding. On the top of the ring, an orifice (4) pierces it right through. This orifice must be in the exact forms of the "closed set" (A). The hole on the outside of the ring is smaller than the hole on the inside of the ring, so that the "closed set" can not escape from the top, the bottom being on the side of the finger of the one who wears the ring. The removal of the "closed setting" of its mount (ring), according to the invention is done by pushing with the finger by the side of the stone set (top of the ring). The silicone ring being elastic, it offers the property to relax so that the closed set can come out. To enter the "set closed" in its mount (ring), according to the invention, it must push with the finger on the side of the first disc (1) by entering from below the ring. The part set with its stone must enter first. The silicone ring being elastic, it offers the property of relaxing so that the closed set can easily enter. The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: FIG. A represents an enlarged profile view of the "closed set" according to the invention. - Figure B shows a side view of the ring according to the invention.
Figure C shows a sectional view of the ring and location of the "closed set", according to the invention. Figure D shows a section of the ring seen from above, according to the invention. 4. Industrial Application of the Invention The system according to the invention is specifically intended for jewelery pieces and can be produced on an industrial scale on a large scale.
