Abstract
La présente invention concerne l'utilisation d'une composition comprenant : a) au moins un polyamide aliphatique contenant au moins deux unités correspondant à la formule générale suivante : X.Y dans laquelle : X.Y représente une unité obtenue par polycondensation de : - une diamine contenant X atomes de carbone et - un acide dicarboxylique contenant Y atomes de carbone, la somme X + Y étant strictement supérieure à 18, b) au moins un absorbeur UV et éventuellement au moins un stabilisateur UV, c) au moins un antioxydant, le rapport en poids entre l'antioxydant et le photostabilisateur étant de préférence inférieur ou égal à 0,7, pour la fabrication d'un gainage de câble mono- ou multicouche résistant aux dégâts des termites. La présente invention concerne également un gainage de câble constitué d'une composition selon l'invention, un procédé de fabrication d'un gainage de câble selon l'invention et l'utilisation d'un gainage de câble selon l'invention dans un câble électrique ou à fibre optique.The present invention relates to the use of a composition comprising: a) at least one aliphatic polyamide containing at least two units corresponding to the following general formula: X.Y in which: X.Y represents a unit obtained by polycondensation of: - a diamine containing X carbon atoms and - a dicarboxylic acid containing Y carbon atoms, the sum X + Y being strictly greater than 18, b) at least one UV absorber and optionally at least one UV stabilizer, c) at least one antioxidant, the ratio in weight between the antioxidant and the light stabilizer being preferably less than or equal to 0.7, for the manufacture of a mono- or multi-layer cable sheath resistant to termite damage. The present invention also relates to a cable sheath consisting of a composition according to the invention, a method of manufacturing a cable sheath according to the invention and the use of a cable sheath according to the invention in a cable electric or fiber optic.
