Abstract

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Computer system consisting of local manual operation files with integrated upload and download programs, as well as a set of online Cloud environments hosting forms and native storage spaces for responses to these forms, allowing instant data sharing / exchange (via a simple internet connection) between several types of remote users and not connected to the same LAN, WAN or other network.

Description

The detailed description of the invention, its components and methods is given below. The abbreviations symbolizing the components and their operation are identical to those constituting the drawing file (attached to the deposit) which illustrates the operation of the invention, this in order to facilitate the understanding of the reader.

Local Operating Files (FEL):

Local Operating Files, which we will call FEL below, can be office files, such as spreadsheets, word processing documents, presentations, or any other local file used for data processing.

Example of technical implementation: FELs are MS Excel workbooks, MS Word documents or MS Powerpoint presentations ...

Integrated programs and local repository:

The FEL are accompanied by integrated computer programs and accompanied by a local relational database for storing the exploited / exchanged data (which we will call below: Repository), which allow the storage, sharing and exchange of data (Upload & Download) with other FELs located remotely, via a simple internet connection.

Example of technical implementation: FELs are Excel workbooks with VBA (Visual Basic Applications) programs that interact in SQL (via DAO for example) with a Repository in MS Access format.

All of the FEL data is also programmatically time-stamped, stored and secured in this local repository.

Cloud or Web Cloud Environments (ENW):

The data shared and exchanged between the FELs are centralized in a set of Web Cloud Environments (Clouds) which we will name below: ENW. Each ENW corresponds, in principle, to one of the distinct user typologies, in line with the desired functional implementation / implementation.

Each ENW is made up of:

► A personalized online survey form (which we will call below FORM) consisting of a set of questions of the type: Short text, long text, choice list, check boxes, exclusive or not, True / false , or any other type of question.

Example of technical implementation: FORM is a Google Form.

► A native and automatic online Storage Space for all of the FORM Responses that we will name below: ESR (Responses to the FORM are automatically entered in the ESR). In principle, the ESR has a tabular format.

Example of technical implementation: The ESR is the Google Sheet for storing responses to the Google Form (FORM), automatically fed by the responses.

► A second online storage space (which we will call below: TABLE), intended for the periodic duplication in Cancel & Replace of the evolving content of the ESR, searchable in SQL (Structured Query Language).

► A SCRIPT of periodic duplication of the evolving content of the ESR in the TABLE (Cancel & Replace). The SCRIPT is executed automatically thanks to an integrated native task scheduler (Periodic trigger), every n minutes.

rij Example of technical implementation: SCRIPT is a Google Apps Script with a Trigger set to one execution every minute (Trigger is an intrinsic / native function of Google Apps Scripts).

Functional note: The functional content of the FELs, the local repository and the ENWs (FORM, ESR, TABLE & SCRIPT) is personalized and varies according to the functional implementation needs encountered.

Uploading data from the FEL to the ENW:

► All of the data recently entered by the user in the FEL is downloaded (Upload) to the target ENW, associated with its own user typology. This programmatic mechanism integrated into the FEL, triggered on command of the user or automatically, silently sends a series of responses appropriate to the FORM associated with the typology of the user.

► A principle of systematic time stamping of data allows selective uploading of recently entered data only (New data or updates whose time stamping is more recent than the content existing before Upload of the target ENW).

► The FORM reacts natively and automatically to the reception of these responses by storing them in the ESR, in an incremental manner, this "over the water".

► The SCRIPT & its periodic trigger automatically duplicate in Cancel & Replace the updated content of the ESR in the TABLE (periodically, once / minute, for example).

Example of technical implementation of the data upload from the FEL to the ENW:

► VBA Programs integrated into the Excel workbook (FEL) create and submit / execute URLs containing the appropriate responses, in the format suitable for the Google Form (FORM) of the target ENW.

Technical note: These URLs replace those which would emanate from a manual and interactive entry by a user of these same appropriate responses, from a web browser displaying the Google Form (FORM) of the target ENW.

► Upon receipt of responses to the Google Form (FORM), these are immediately automatically recorded in its associated Google Sheet and intended for the storage of responses (ESR). This is intrinsic / native to Google Forms.

► Once per minute, the Google Apps Script (SCRIPT) duplicates in Cancel & Replaces the content thus updated from the Google Sheet (SHEET) in the associated Google Fusion Table (TABLE).

Download from the ENW to the FEL:

► All of the data recently entered by all other users (belonging to another typology of partner users) is downloaded (Download) selectively from the source ENW associated with these typologies of partner users to the user's FEL recipient.

► This programmatic mechanism integrated into the FEL, triggered on user command or automatically, proceeds to the following execution phases:

► Monitoring of the content of the source ENW (From a typology of partner users), in particular the time stamp associated with the data, in order to determine the new or recently updated data (Whose time stamp is more recent than that of the same data entered in the FEL of the recipient user), therefore candidates for download in Download,> Selective repatriation of data candidates for download in Download from the ENW 5 source, within the Repository, in tables " Buffer "reserved for this purpose,> Integration of the data thus downloaded in the" Buffer "tables of the Repository and registration of the Repository data in the FEL of the recipient user.
