Abstract

Tambour (1) d'assemblage expansible radialement destiné à la fabrication d'un adaptateur de pneumatique sur une jante, ledit tambour comportant un axe central (XX') et une zone d'assemblage coaxiale avec celui-ci comportant un premier ensemble (10) de segments (100) et un deuxième ensemble (20) de segments (200), tous les segments étant disposés circonférentiellement autour de l'axe central, dans lequel les segments (100) du premier ensemble (10) et les segments (200) du deuxième ensemble (20) se font face axialement. Selon l'invention, ledit tambour passe, dans ladite zone d'assemblage, d'une première position rétractée de forme sensiblement cylindrique à une deuxième position expansée de forme sensiblement tronconique lorsque les segments (100) sont entraînés par une première came (300) et les segments (200) par une deuxième came (400) adjacente.
