Abstract
L'invention concerne le domaine du fractionnement de mélanges de particules et plus particulièrement un procédé et un système de fractionnement d'un mélange comprenant deux espèces de particules de densités différentes. Le procédé comprend les étapes suivantes : - l'introduction du mélange 1 dans un réservoir principal 10 contenant un liquide 2, - la décantation du mélange et du liquide, - la récupération d'une première substance 3 comprenant le liquide chargé en une première espèce de particules, et - la récupération d'une deuxième substance 4 comprenant le liquide chargé en une deuxième espèce de particules. Le liquide 2 présente une densité comprise entre les densités des deux espèces de particules et une température d'ébullition inférieure à 50°C. Dès lors, le séchage subséquent des substances 3, 4 peut ne nécessiter que peu d'énergie comparativement à un fractionnement par décantation d'eau et ne nécessite que l'apport d'énergie naturellement fourni par l'environnement.The invention relates to the field of fractionation of mixtures of particles and more particularly to a method and system for fractionating a mixture comprising two species of particles of different densities. The method comprises the following steps: - the introduction of the mixture 1 into a main tank 10 containing a liquid 2, - the settling of the mixture and the liquid, - the recovery of a first substance 3 comprising the liquid loaded with a first species particles, and - the recovery of a second substance 4 comprising the liquid loaded with a second species of particles. The liquid 2 has a density between the densities of the two species of particles and a boiling point of less than 50 ° C. Therefore, the subsequent drying of the substances 3, 4 can require only little energy compared to a fractionation by settling of water and only requires the input of energy naturally provided by the environment.
