FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to the field of eyewear, with corrective or non-corrective lenses. It relates more particularly to an articulated device intended to allow the wearing and distancing of the glasses of prescription or pleasure glasses to be alternated, preferably separately for each of the glasses, and so as to release simultaneously or preferably alternately the part face of the person concerned. One application for which such a device is particularly intended is makeup.

TECHNOLOGICAL BACKGROUND

Spectacle frames are known which have a vertical pivoting mechanism (along a horizontal axis), such as for example those sold under the name Maison & Confort, and under the name Blancheporte®. In all cases, the pivoting takes place along a substantially horizontal axis for a spectacle wearer standing or seated, the lenses being fixed to an articulated support which makes it possible to rotate them along an almost horizontal axis, by raising or lowering them. at an angle of at least 90 °.

However, such spectacle frames do not make it possible, for example to make makeup operations easy, to blur all of the elements of the glasses (glass, frame, branch and nose tab) which interfere in the makeup operations around each of the eyes alternately.

There was therefore a need for a vision correction device which can allow the person who wears it, and who needs it for his makeup operations, to meet no manual and / or visual discomfort, but at the same time to continue to have an adaptation to his vision of the image of his gestures and the parameters of his action, in all directions.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

We have now found that we can provide wearers of glasses, especially people with vision problems, for example presbyopia, an unknown comfort for their makeup operations, thanks to a device holding more of the headband or helmet than glasses, and arranged to allow each lens to be blended individually and separately, without leaving significantly annoying elements around the eye alternately concerned by the makeup operations or other operations affecting the immediate periphery and / or close to the eyes.

The device according to the present invention consists of an assembly composed of at least one hoop, at least two branches, and a vision glass subject to each of said at least two branches, as well as organs for the articulation of said branches on said arch and / or said glasses on said branches, as well as articulation and / or sliding elements at the junction of each branch on the arch and over an appropriate part of the length of said branches , while said device does not need a junction of the two aforementioned branches bypassing on the nose of the user.

In other words, such a device is thus composed of means intended to allow:

• its attachment to or against the wearer's head, • deployment / retraction, by rotation around a pivot or a hinge and / or by rectilinear or curvilinear translation, of a terminal portion of load-bearing branch d '' a glass next to each eye of the user, and • the alternation of the above deployment / retraction operation to successively free each eye from any surrounding element and, conversely, bring in front of the other eye the appropriate opposite glass intended to facilitate the control and the good progress of the make-up operations (including also all additional hair removal operations) to be carried out, • as well as the retraction of each branch and its glass in or substantially in the plane of the headband headband, to reduce its size and facilitate storage and transport, optional in a case or a case.

The device thus designed according to the invention and described below with reference to embodiments given only by way of illustrative and nonlimiting examples, makes it possible to stand out from the known concept, known as make-up glasses, to which it replaces a device similar to a headband or helmet, provided with pivoting arms around an axis or a hinge allowing, with the ability to adapt to the morphology of each, to approach and / or move away of the axis of vision of each of the eyes of the person thus equipped with an appropriate corrective lens carried by the device which is provided with it.

By headband (or helmet if the device has a larger part, or even provided with additional functions, covering the head by being placed on it instead of surrounding it) is meant here a device having a grip on the top or the circumference of the upper half of the wearer's head, instead of pressing on the ears and on the top of the nose like glasses would.

We therefore already see that, in its very design, the device according to the present invention differs significantly from conventional makeup glasses.

It also differs significantly by its mode of use and practicality.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The invention summarized above is thus a device composed of unfoldable / foldable elements, and pivotable and / or sliding, chosen and arranged to allow a user to simplify and perform without any discomfort his facial makeup operations (including eyebrow waxing, among others).

The glasses with which such a device can be fitted are of all types and of all materials (glass, polycarbonate, etc.), and can be adapted in a conventional manner to each particular feature of the vision that the user presents.

In embodiments not shown, it is naturally also possible to envisage non-corrective or partially corrective glasses, or even glasses with a magnifying glass effect on the whole or only on a part of their surface.

In its most standard embodiment, the device 1 according to the invention comprises a flexible hoop 2 intended to form a headband and comprising, laterally with respect to the median axis of said headband, two pivot-pivot junctions or two hinge junctions 3, each for the respective branch 4, at or near one end thereof, while said branch 4 concerned is itself carrying at its other end a glass

5, advantageously movable by sliding on said branch 4. The branches 4 are preferably curved.

The dimensions of the arch 2 are chosen to suit all head sizes. As a variant, it is possible to envisage several sizes, or an adjustable hoop by sliding between them two parts connected together.

The dimensions and the curvature of the branches 4, extended by the glasses 5 and their junction for sliding on the said branches, are chosen in such a way that they allow the tilting of one or other of the branches 4 from the headband 2 towards the eye area of the user and vice versa, without any discomfort for the head, forehead and face of the person.

The ultimate adjustment is carried out by manual sliding of the glass 5 of the activated branch 4, in one direction or the other as necessary, so as to bring said glass opposite the eye opposite to that on which the user intervenes, and on the contrary to retract the glass 5 by sliding backwards on the opposite branch 4, thus freeing up all the space around the eye whose makeup is being undertaken.

In each of the articulations 3 and / or of the parts sliding zones therebetween in said device, it is possible to optionally provide asperities, pins and / or bulges suitable for blocking, wedging, retaining and / or stop, at a given movement stage and / or in a given position, to ensure better temporary fixing of the elements concerned in a position and / or at a chosen distance from the other associated functional elements. This is ideally achieved by using elements made of flexible or semi-flexible material and / or silicone, ensuring retention by clipping which can be removed by a simple push and / or pull on one of the parts thus temporarily blocked between them.

In general, the device 1 according to the invention can also include one or more of the following features, separately or in any technically possible combination of two or more of these optional features, between them:

• The optical glasses 5 are advantageously adapted to each particularity of the user, which means that the latter can have perfect vision for all of his operations related to the face, such as makeup, hair removal and the like, without any discomfort. due to the absence of structural elements of the device according to the invention over the entire area in which these manual operations are carried out.

• The optical glass 5 can be simply fixed by pinching, screwing or any other means to the free end of the branch 4 concerned. It can also be integrated into a retaining structure, such as a conventional surround, total or partial, or even a traditional strapping by stretched nylon thread.

• Said optional structure intended to integrate the optical glass 5 can be movable relative to the branch itself which carries it, to suitably allow its more precise adjustment, in particular in inclination relative to the vertical.

• Alternatively, the glass 5 can be directly assembled on the branch 4 which carries it, in particular by a ball or hinge system, directly inserted into the glass.

• The aforementioned structures associated with the branches 4 integrating the glasses 5 can be dissociated from one another and can be mobile, preferably in rotation, on themselves relative to the respective branch which carries them.

• The headband 2 can be foldable and / or adjustable in length.

• Said headband can be produced in any conventional material and / or in any color, the choice of which is essentially dictated by the commercial positioning, for example among luxury products, low-end products, or even so-called products trendy, possibly customized.

• The branches 4 are advantageously designed and arranged to be able to retract or lengthen as the user wishes, using known means, to allow the user to adapt them optimally to her vision and to her shape of head.

• The headband 2 of the headband itself can be foldable or retractable on itself, and it can be:

In general and in summary, the present invention allows anyone wishing to perform any desired action on their face (such as makeup, hair removal, etc.), to have the vision desired by each person individually and at the same time to meet no discomfort in the space located to the right of the device and around, which allows to perform said actions with all the required quality and without any discomfort.

Claims (8)
