Abstract

L'invention concerne une bouteille (1) en matière synthétique destinée, à être remplie par un liquide chaud, et/ou, à subir un cycle thermique après remplissage, qui est notamment remarquable en ce qu'elle présente sur sa paroi périphérique et sur au moins une partie de sa hauteur au moins deux zones en creux (2a-2b) de manière telle que l'intersection de n'importe quel plan de coupe transversale de la bouteille avec ladite paroi périphérique de cette dernière détermine dans les zones en creux (2a-2b) une ligne fermée à segments alternativement concaves et convexes, tandis que l'intersection de n'ümporte quel plan de coupe axiale de la bouteille avec ladite paroi périphérique détermine une ligne (6,6') de longueur (L) sensiblement constante de telle sorte que lesdites zones en creux peuvent disparaître au moins en partie en se déformant du fait d'une augmentation de la pression intérieure de la bouteille.
