Abstract

The exchanger has a set of supports (2-4) for assembly of gas and liquid separation tubes (1). A set of grooves (7) is arranged for captive seals. A filter (5) is arranged with a set of tie bars for assembly and sealing of a set openings (8). The tubes, grooves, and supports are provided in unspecified number in all materials. The gas and liquid separation tubes are provided with different spacings. The tubes are concentric or offset with regard to each other.

Description

The present invention relates to a polyvalent tubular exchanger, intended for the transfer of energies from a liquid or gaseous medium to another liquid or gaseous medium. Previously these exchangers were made by soldered or brazed assemblies, and intended for a single application. and at low pressures, it does not allow disassembly for cleaning, control, requalification, modification, or repair. The peculiarities of the construction of the exchanger according to the invention make it possible to remedy all these drawbacks, consisting of flanges, tubes, longitudinal tie-rods, joints, allowing a quick assembly, removable, and a perfect seal, moreover it comprises various sections and routes for gases and liquids which allows various applications with the same exchanger, while being complementary, this construction makes it possible to meet perfectly the directive PED 97/23 of the European Union, in particular on the tests in pressure, and disassembly for requalification, repairs or modifications. It comprises flanges with housings for prisoners joints of adequate depth guaranteeing a perfect seal, concentric tubes for the passage of liquids and gases, a spacing calculated for a reasonable fluid velocity but sufficient to obtain a optimal performance, the superposition of the sections, allows to gather in a single compact device several applications, by its very robust constitution it is able to withstand very high pressures safely, the lengths and diameters allow to vary the powers exchange, in some cases if necessary, the layout can be eccentric. This exchanger can among other applications, serve as condenser, evaporator, undercooler, oil separator, filter. The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention, FIG. 1 represents in section the arrangement of the tubes (1) with respect to the assembly flanges (2-3-4). FIG. 2 the bottom flange (2) and its orifices (FIG. 8) its grooves (7), FIG. 3 the intermediate flange (3) and its orifices (6-8) and its grooves (7), FIG. 4 the upper flange (4) with also its orifices (6-8) and its grooves (7) the arrangement of the tube and the filter (5). By eliminating the very high costs of welding and especially related controls, by its economical construction, its versatility, the possibility of easy disassembly, its performance, its robustness, its resistance to very high pressures, this exchanger is particularly intended for R744 (CO2) applications in the refrigeration industry of air conditioning, compressed air equipment, and the oil industry, it is also compatible with fluids, R717 (ammonia) and R290 (propane) .
