Abstract
Description
AND SHOULDER PROTECTOR A shirt (man, woman, child) is a garment covering the bust and arms, and includes a collar and sleeves. The junction sleeve / bust is the armpit. Sweat mingled with body fat, microparticles free of air and dust, leaves - a brown dirt on the collar and - a yellow halo of perspiration under the arms (armpits) of the shirts. This inconvenience - does not allow the voluntary blocking of perspiration which plays an important role in the regulation of the body temperature and - constitutes a daily concern of cleanliness, elegance and freshness for the populations of all the continents. After a machine wash or even an energetic manual wash, the collar and armpit rarely come out immaculate and the risk of early wear is high. With the collar guard and underarm protector, the dirt on the collar and armpits is finished. Throughout the day, the neck protector and underarm protector keep the neck and armpits clean and, preventing bacteria and molds on necks and underarms, provides comfort and a feeling of freshness. The collar guard and underarm protector are soft, discreet, waterproof, adhesive in contact with shirts and disposable. The collar guard is transparent and the underarm protector is absorbent. The adhesive side is a soft solid conforming to the collar and underarms as a result of the surface forces on the fabric. The adhesive must withstand the frequent detachment of the neck protector or armpit that the wearer must take off by exerting sufficient force to spread the detachment without damaging the shirt. Adhesives based on vegetable cellulose are preferred and those in acrylic tolerated for their crease resistance and their high adiathermic power. The absorbent side is based on aerated vegetable fibers (cotton, hemp ...). The use of super-absorbent materials such as sodium polyacrylate (known for its ability to absorb 300 times its mass in water and its low potential for irritation) is recommended to better protect people perspiring abundantly. The ultra-absorbent layer can contain 5 to 10 g of sodium polyacrylate. The collar protector and the underarm protector are based on laminated polyurethane or other non-toxic and non-irritating material offering health and environmental safety guarantees. Polyurethane is chemically inert, sparse, recyclable, transparent and impervious preventing bacteria and molds reproducing on the necks and armpits, thus avoiding significant respiratory diseases. The neck protector is transparent and consists of two sides: - a face adherent to the shirt, covering foot and under collar - a non-adherent and non-irritating face in contact with the neck The underarm cover is absorbent and composed of two faces: - an adherent face covering the whole junction sleeve / bust under the arms - an absorbent face of sweat in contact with the underarm skin Any derivative variant is within the scope of the present invention.
The neck protector and underarm protector can be packaged and distributed, at low cost accessible to all, in boxes of 30, 100 or 200 units.
