Abstract

The changer (6) has a tool holding unit i.e. grip (9), for holding of a tool (8), and an opening unit i.e. strut jack, for opening of the tool holding unit. A translation unit i.e. trolley, of the tool holding unit is movable between an inoperative position and a storage position in a tool magazine. The translation unit is movable to an adjustment position of an adjusting unit that is provided in the tool magazine. The adjusting unit is movable to a variable position of a tool holder i.e. ring (13), by movement of the tool magazine about an axis. An independent claim is also included for a method for installation and/or automatic withdrawal of a tool.
