Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé et une installation de polissage d'une pièce taillée en verre comportant une surface externe munie de motifs en taille mate. L'installation comprend : a) un poste de nettoyage (10) apte à effectuer un lavage de la pièce au moyen d'une solution d'acide diluée à l'eau, b) un four de préchauffage (12) pour amener la pièce nettoyée issue du poste de nettoyage (10) à une température proche de la température de transition du verre, c) un poste de polissage (14) comportant un laser (54) apte à exposer la surface externe de la pièce au faisceau (52) du laser dans des conditions contrôlées, ce qui provoque une fusion localisée de la surface du verre et donne un aspect brillant à la taille mate, et d) un four de recuisson (16) apte à effectuer un recuit de la pièce issue du poste de polissage (14) à une température de recuit du verre. L'invention s'applique aux articles des arts de la table.The invention relates to a method and an installation for polishing a cut piece of glass having an outer surface provided with patterns in matt size. The invention applies to tableware items.
