Abstract

La présente invention consiste en un dispositif destiné à interdire le démarrage et, a fortiori, l'usage d'un véhicule dépourvu d'une assurance en cours de validité. Le dispositif, selon l'invention, consiste en une carte électronique reliée au dispositif de sécurité anti-démarrage du véhicule. Cette carte est délivrée par l'assureur choisi librement par l'acquéreur dudit véhicule, ledit assureur y ayant inscrit, - d'une part, les codes ou références du système anti-démarrage du véhicule, à lui communiqués confidentiellement par le constructeur ou le vendeur dudit véhicule, - d'autre part, ses propres codes ou références de contrat, d'échéance et de paiement de la prime. Pour garantir la validité en cours de l'assurance, les codes seront, bien entendu, modifiés à chaque échéance, après paiement de la prime ou fraction de prime si tel est le cas.

Description

La présente invention consiste en un dispositif destiné à interdire le démarrage et, a fortiori, l'usage d'un véhicule dépourvu d'une assurance en cours de validité.
Le dispositif, selon l'invention, consiste en une carte électronique reliée au dispositif de sécurité anti-démarrage du véhicule.
Cette carte est délivrée par l'assureur choisi librement par l'acquéreur dudit véhicule, ledit assureur y ayant ipscrit,
- d'une part, les codes ou références du système anti-démarrage du véhicule, à lui communiqués confidentiellement par le constructeur ou le vendeur dudit véhicule,
- d'autre part, ses propres codes ou références de contrat, d'échéance et de paiement de la prime.
Pour garantir la validité en cours de l'assurance, fes codes seront, bien entendu, modifiés à chaque échéance, après paiement de la prime ou fraction de prime si tel est le cas.
Le présent dispositif peut comporter tous supports électroniques amovibles tels une carte dite SIM, à titre d'exemple, 51M 2SO 128 ko qui peut être insérée dans la télécommande d'ouverture des portières ou bien dans un logement prévu à cet effet sur le tableau de bord lui-même.
Bien entendu, il est nécessaire que le véhicule soit équipé d'un système d'anti-démarrage, ce à quoi peuvent être contraints les fabricants dans le cadre dé la législation sur l'assurance obligatoire.
Ledit dispositif est de nature à généraliser les contrats au bénéfice des assurances et surtout du Fond de Garantie Automobile.

Claims (5)

  1. REVENDICATIONS1) Dispositif destiné à interdire la circulation d'un véhicule non couvert par une assurance valide.
  2. 2) Dispositif selon la revendication 1 caractérisé en ce que le véhicule considéré est équipé d'un lecteur de carte type « SIM » ou tout autre similaire agissant sur le circuit électrique ou le dispositif anti-démarrage.
  3. 3) Dispositif selon la revendication 2 caractérisé en ce que la carte ou tout autre support, est codée et délivrée par la seule compagnie d'assurance, dès lors qu'un contrat a été souscrit et demeure en cours de validité.
  4. 4) Dispositif selon la revendication 3 caractérisé en ce que la péremption de l'assurance entraîne, ipso facto, l'immobilisation du véhicule dont le contrat d'assurance n'est plus valide.
  5. 5) Dispositif selon la revendication 4 caractérisé en ce que l'immobilisation du véhicule ne peut intervenir qu'après un avertissement sonore et la mise en sécurité du véhicule par son conducteur.
