Abstract

The device has a guiding unit (9) guiding a surface covering band (1) between a storage coil (4) and a regulator (8) to allow a portion of the band to be unrolled from the coil to follow a predetermined trajectory during which the band is loaded with an adhesive. The guiding unit and the regulator are integrated with one another to form a monoblock assembly that is equipped with an activated or deactivated connection unit (10) e.g. knuckle or hook, for permitting coupling/uncoupling of the device with/from the container respectively, in a work position of the device.
