Abstract

The jamb has a main section (5) comprising a base plate (5') provided with a main fixation and support surface (6) allowing fixation of the jamb on a body of a revolving door leaf (1), where the jamb supports an electromagnet (3) or a back plate (4) made from ferromagnetic material. A complementary section (8) is provided with a complementary fixation and support surface (9), and rigidly assembled with the base plate in a removable manner so as to prolong and laterally extend the main fixation and support surface of the base plate using the complementary fixation and support surface. An independent claim is also included for a revolving door leaf maintaining device comprising a sectioned jamb.
