Abstract

The method involves providing a trench for receiving light emission sources (26a, 26b) to a light guide before solidification of fluid material, where the emission sources illuminate the light guide. The fluid material is extruded through a die according to extrusion direction to provide the trench to the light guide before solidification process. The trench is realized after extrusion process through the die before the solidification process, where trench is provided with a central part (23) and a peripheral part (24). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a light guide comprising a trench (2) a device for manufacturing a light guide from a fluid material comprising a shape providing unit.
