Abstract
The pulley (1) has a return unit (5) i.e. helical spring, returning a movable side plate (3) in the direction of a fixed side plate (4), where the side plates are carried by a blind hollow hub (2). The movable side plate defines a variable-sized groove (6) with the fixed side plate, where a belt of a variable speed drive is inserted into the groove. The fixed side plate and the blind hollow hub are formed as a single piece from synthesis material. The fixed side plate has a metal coating (7) on its surface (8) arranged opposite the movable side plate.
