Abstract
Description
40 The present invention relates to a device for improving the efficiency of the essential oil diffusers, operating on the principle of air mixing. These diffusers consist of a propeller, rotated by an electric motor. The air stream generated by the propeller is directed on an absorbent material on which the essential oil is deposited. The diffusion of the essential oil is then carried out by the mixing of air generated by the propeller. Diffusers by air mixing, however, have several disadvantages: it takes a significant diffusion time to disperse the essential oil, or any odorous liquid, which is incompatible with a power supply of the engine with batteries. In addition, the high rotational speed of the propeller generates noise that may be annoying for users. The device for improving the efficiency of diffusers by air mixing according to the invention, reduces the diffusion time of essential oils, so the power consumption, while reducing noise operation. The device comprises according to a first feature a helix made of a hydrophilic material, capable of absorbing the essential oil, or any other odoriferous liquid substance. This propeller can be very diverse in appearance, simple geometric shape or complex and made in many materials (blotting paper, watercolor paper, sponge, fiber or other). It is well understood that the diffusion of odoriferous liquid substance is more effective when the propeller performs both functions, mixing air and essential oil absorption. In addition, the speed of rotation of the helix does not need to be high which results in a decrease in operating noise. According to a second characteristic, the fixing of the helix on the axis of the motor is carried out by a permanent magnet. In this way, the propeller can be easily removed and replaced, which is useful when employing several different oils. According to a third characteristic, the center of the propeller is identified by a visual element, in order to promote its centering with respect to the motor axis. The device peimeterant to improve the efficiency of essential oil diffusers operating by air mixing is particularly intended for diffusers powered by batteries charged by solar cell for which the reduction in power consumption is sought. 40
