Abstract

The opener, e.g. for a pouch (2) with a projecting pouring spout (3), is located entirely within the upper part of a rigid container (1) with a handle (4), and comprises a clamp with fixed (6) and moving (7) branches with a cutter (10) and control knob (13), attached to a base (5). The opener can be moulded in one piece from a metal or plastic material, and is made with a flat spring (12) to engage with the inside of the handle. In a design for use in a container without a handle the opener can be mounted on a telescopic rod.

  - O The present invention relates to a device allowing the opening of a container like a berlingot with an appendix for the transfer of aggressive liquids: this device is mounted entirely in

  the mouth of a container fitted with a handle.

  The lower part of the device is inserted into the handle mentioned above.
