Abstract

The air freshener consists of a plaster block in the shape of a logo, object, insect or animal for example, attached by a mechanical fastener (2) of brass-coated or stainless metal to a supple fabric backing (1) measuring e.g. 8 x 10 cm with a hanging cord (4) or fabric strip sewn to it. The fastener comprises a head and two lugs and is partly moulded inside the plaster block.

Description

L'invention concerne l'assemblage de deux objets différents, dans leur fonction de base, l'un en tissu et l'autre en plâtre parfumé. The invention relates to the assembly of two different objects, in their basic function, one in fabric and the other in perfumed plaster.

Tous les essais qui ont été faits pour fixer un objet en plâtre parfumé sur un support en tissu, destinéà parfumer un véhicule automobile, ont échoué car toutes les colles utilisées n'ont pas résistéà la chaleur du soleil qui frappe au travers du pare-brise dudit véhicule. L'autre difficulté était de résoudre l'adhérence du plâtre parfumé sur un support souple en tissu. Un objet en plâtre parfumé est gras, car le procédé de fabrication consiste soità tremper entièrement l'objet dans le parfum, soità pulvériser du parfum sur le dessus de l'objet, mais par capillarité, le parfum descend vers la base de l'objet qui est collé sur le support souple en tissu, et l'acidité du parfum affaiblit l'adhérence de la colle sur le support souple en tissu. En incorporant une attache mécanique laitonnée ou inoxydable dans la fabrication d'un objet en plâtre, nous résolvons le problème de tenue dans le temps faceà la chaleur des rayons du soleil et du vieillissement naturel des colles. Grâceà cette invention, nous apportons une solution technique au produit qui deviendra un désodorisant permanent car rechargeableà volonté.
