Une deuxième cloison thermoformée est constituée par un couvercle de diffusion à paroi mince non isolante qui permet un transfert maîtrisé du froid dans le sens descendant et qui apporte un faible gradient vertical et uniforme de la température dans le volume utile de l'emballage pour assurer la protection à la température demandée pour le produit transporté .
