Abstract

The device has a rigid structure forming a rectangular cover (5) delimited by small end sides (13) and longitudinal sides (7) and covering an upper opening of an elongated container that is connected to gallows (4). The gallows and a telescopic vertical mast (3) are associated to a unit that maneuvers the cover between an active position in which the cover rests on a peripheral edge of the container and a retracted position in which the cover is released. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a trailer or bin type container including a covering device (2) a transport device including a covering device.
