Abstract

The method involves inserting a circular radio frequency identification (RFID) antenna between two layers of an optical disk such as a digital versatile disk (DVD) along a Z axis of the disk, before sticking the two halves of the DVD. Substrates are formed with a circular pouch around an inner hole of a total length of 200 to 500 micrometer for accepting the RFID antenna. An independent claim is also included for an optical disk fabricated as per a method of fabricating a disk.
