Abstract
The device has a bearing mounted around a shaft, and an oil squeeze damper arranged around the bearing. The damper comprises a housing (18) formed in an outer case and defines an annular space around an outer ring of the bearing. Annular sealing parts (24) provided in the bearing include a set of calibrated oil outlet orifices spaced apart from one another in outer periphery of an annular part. An independent claim is also included for a turbo machine e.g. airplane turboprop, including a device for supporting and guiding a rotating shaft.
