Abstract

The method involves taking a fingerprint by a fingerprint capturing device (TPE) and defining an identity to the fingerprint. The fingerprint and its characteristics are processed and stored in a database. The fingerprint is read and converted into a single data, at the moment of utilization. The fingerprint is compared with the information stored in the database for verification or invalidation of the fingerprint. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a system for processing a fingerprint (B) a computer program having coded instructions for implementing stages of a fingerprint processing method.
