Abstract

Palette of functions allowing to multiply the use of all supports with "Anoto®" functionality. This palette groups together, according to several thematic areas, an evolving set of use processes deployed over the entire useful surface of the palette without any bleed around boxes exclusive functionalities. These processes are backed up by a specific client server infrastructure. Many of the pallet usage processes can be changed at the user's discretion via a dedicated server and software available on many types of digital terminals, allowing the user to directly send data over the Internet using their own digital pen with "Anoto®" functionality according to a large number of exclusive modes defined by the boxes and actions of the palette. Description

The present invention relates to a range of functionalities

  to increase the use of all media (notebooks, blocks, copies, diaries, conference stands, etc.) that use the Anoto feature.

  Existing Anoto feature holders allow you to digitize features with an electronic pen and send the acquired data to a PC or mobile phone (Bluetooth enabled) using Anotô's pidgets: Send to PC and Send to Phone. (The pidgets are specific frame areas understood as a simple action by the embedded software of the electronic pen). Specific pidgets can transform the type of lines (color, thickness) as well as send the data of a page by e-mail, fax, SMS or as an image. Finally, generic pidgets indicate the battery level of the pen or initialize the pairing of the pen to a given mobile phone. Being directly interpreted by the pen, these pidgets require an important bleed up to 7 mm in order to avoid any misinterpretation of the pen. This disadvantage is accentuated by their lack of flexibility: each pidget must be referenced by the electronic pen to ensure its recognition. The embedded software of electronic pens with Anotô functionality can not be updated at will, the library of Anotô pidgets is therefore intangible both in terms of content and use.

  The present invention overcomes the foregoing limitations by designing a palette of features that groups together in one or more areas a set of exclusive usage processes. This palette is interpreted by two files of description indicating the exact and contiguous position of the functional boxes as well as their use. The use of a lost ground between different functional boxes is no longer necessary: the material support thus provides a maximum useful surface and more easily adaptable to many formats. Pallet according to the preceding claims characterized in that many functional characteristics are modifiable at the discretion of the user via a server containing the description of the pallet and dedicated software available on many types of digital terminals.   5. Pallet according to the preceding claims characterized in that the functional boxes allow the direct sending of data over the Internet via a reserved user account on a dedicated server and using specific software.   6. Pallet according to the preceding claims characterized in that the pallet consists of different graphic models according to various product sizes (notebook flap, block, insert, bookmark, ruler, business card, etc.) without specific limitation.
