La présente invention se rapporte aux utilisations, notamment dans des compositions cosmétiques ou pharmaceutiques à usage vaginal, d'oligosaccharides prébiotiques sélectionnés pour leur capacité à favoriser la croissance de souches bactériennes vaginales endogènes bénéfiques.
