Abstract
Position detectors synchronizing method involves calibrating the position of a test object (8) in a mark of a vehicle (7) by aligning the object with respect to a target (13) whose position is known with respect to a mechanical reference (18) of the vehicle. The object is aligned on the mark of the vehicle by an optical observation of the target using an optoelectronic camera. The camera is integrated with the object and the target. An independent claim is also included for a system for synchronizing object position detectors.
