Abstract

The plastic cover used with machinery has vulcanised rubber granules (5-40 wt.%) from recyled tyres added to a thermoplastic material. An independent claim is also included for a method of production of the protective covers from a thermoplastic material by incorporating the granular vulcanised rubber into the molten thermoplastic material, granulating the mixture and shaping the mixture.
