Abstract

The sorting table consists of at least one surface (18) over which the harvested grape crop flows, made up of zones (28, 32) with two different mesh sizes for separating smaller elements (30) such as unripe fruit, and larger ones (16) i.e. mature grapes. In the second zone the mesh size increases progressively between its beginning and its end sections, which slope down and up respectively. The table is also equipped with a vibration generator for its upper surface (18) that causes the grapes to move along it, and a compressed air system for blowing away the lightest components (34) such as leaves and stems. The grapes can be delivered to the table through a hopper (24) fed by a pump or elevator.

Description

TABLE DE TRI POUR LA VENDANGE
SORTING TABLE FOR HARVESTING
The present invention relates to a table for sorting the harvest.
After harvesting, the harvest is often sorted to remove unwanted elements such as green bunches, stubble waste, and others. According to a first embodiment, the sorting table comprises a conveyor on which the grape is deposited. Operators are then arranged on both sides of the table and remove the passage of the vintage unwanted elements. This type of sorting can only be suitable for a limited harvest flow unless it monopolizes a large number of operators, the quality of sorting depending on the operators, in particular their dexterity.
Another solution is to dump the harvest on a vibrating grid. The elements below the mesh, especially the grapes, flow through the grid, while the large elements, including stalks or leaves, remain above the grid.
Even if this table makes it possible to reduce the number of operators and to handle a large flow of vintage, it does not give satisfaction because the quality of the sorting is relatively mediocre, many undesirable elements of small sizes remaining present in the vintage.
Also, the present invention aims to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art by providing a table for sorting the harvest likely to process a large flow of harvest and to obtain a quality of sorting significantly improved.
To this end, the subject of the invention is a sorting table for the grape-crop, which makes it possible to separate the grape berries from the undesirable elements, comprising at least one surface on which the grapes flow, characterized in that it comprises a first grape sorting zone for separating the lower elements and a second sorting zone for separating the upper elements. This arrangement makes it possible to substantially improve the quality of sorting by means of double sorting.
Other features and advantages will become apparent from the following description of the invention, a description given by way of example only, with reference to the appended drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a schematic longitudinal section of the sorting table of FIG. FIG. 2 is an elevational view of a sorting table according to a first angle of view, and FIG. 3 is an elevational view of the sorting table of FIG. 2 according to a second angle of view. view perpendicular to the first.
In Figure 1, there is shown at 10 a table for sorting the harvest to separate the unwanted elements 14, including small green beans and stalks, leaves or other grapes of grapes 16 at maturity.
The table comprises an upper surface 18 on which the harvesting takes place in a direction represented by the arrow referenced 20. Preferably, the table is vibrating and comprises means capable of generating vibrations, in particular at the level of the surface 18, producing the movement of the harvest relative to the surface 18 in the direction 20. According to a preferred embodiment, an unbalance motor 22 is provided to generate the vibrations, as shown in Figure 2. The vibration means also allow unclogging the harvest and crumble the elements to sort.
The harvest is preferably poured into a hopper 24 attached above and at a first end of the upper surface 18, upstream in the direction 20 of flow of the harvest. Advantageously, as illustrated in Figure 2, the hopper 24 is removable or can rotate relative to an axis 26 thus allowing access to the upper surface 18 located below the hopper to facilitate maintenance and cleaning.
According to one characteristic of the invention, the upper surface 18 comprises a first sorting zone 28 making it possible to separate the lower elements 30, in particular the small green seeds, and a second sorting zone 32 making it possible to separate the upper elements 34, in particular the stalks and leaves. This arrangement substantially improves the sorting quality by allowing double sorting with a single machine.
Preferably, the first sorting zone 28 comprises a grid with a reduced mesh size making it possible to keep above the surface 18 the elements whose dimensions are greater than the mesh, in particular the grapes 16 at maturity, the lower elements 30, in particular the small green grains, passing through the grid and being collected under the grid in a receptacle 36.
Preferably, the first sorting zone 28 is disposed upstream in the direction of the flow of the harvest, in particular below the hopper 24.
The second sorting zone 32 comprises a grid with a mesh adapted to retain above the upper surface 18 the upper elements 34, including the stalks and leaves, and to pass below said surface grapes berries 16 at maturity . Advantageously, means 38 are provided below the surface 18 to collect the grapes 16 at maturity.
Similarly, collection means 40 are provided downstream of the upper surface 18 for the upper elements 34.
According to another characteristic of the invention, the second sorting zone 32 comprises a mesh whose dimensions vary along the direction of the flow of the harvest, the mesh being thinner upstream than downstream, and the variation being preferably progressive.
This arrangement makes it possible to improve the quality of the sorting, the elements to be sorted being more unclogged downstream than upstream.
According to another characteristic of the invention, the second sorting zone 32 comprises, in the downstream end portion, an upward inclined plane in order to limit the drop and the loss of the grapes 16 towards the collection means 40 of the upper elements. Advantageously, the second sorting zone 32 comprises an inclined plane descending upstream in order to promote the flow of the harvest. Like the hopper, the grid of the second sorting zone is removable or can pivot about an axis 42 to facilitate maintenance and cleaning.
According to another characteristic of the invention, banks 44 are provided on either side of the upper surface 18 in order to maintain the harvest.
A partition wall 46 is disposed below the upper surface 18 between the first and the second sorting areas in order to limit the risk of mixing between the lower elements 30 and the grapes 16. Advantageously, the table 10 is attached. on a movable frame 48 and includes a recess for arranging below the means for collecting grapes, such as a harvest pump, a conveyor belt, or the like.
Of course, the invention is obviously not limited to the embodiment shown and described above, but on the contrary covers all variants, particularly with regard to the shapes, materials and dimensions of the various elements constituting the table, in particular grids of the sorting areas. Alternatively, the sorting zone containing the upper elements corresponding to the second sorting zone 32 may be placed above the grape sorting zone, corresponding to the first sorting area 28, the sorting starting with the separation of the upper elements 34 and then by the separation of the lower elements 30. in this case the upper surface 18 is decomposed into two superimposed surfaces.
According to an improvement of the invention, it is intended to add to the device a compressed air system in order to chase the lighter elements, including leaves and ensure certain way their movement avoiding accumulations.
For this purpose, a solution consists of an arrangement below the grids of nozzle ramps blowing compressed air, an angle of inclination to cause a progression of these lightweight elements.
Means for controlling the flow of each of the ramps make it possible to adjust the flow to each of the zones.
