Abstract

The device has a chute (1) fixed on a rear door of a trailer containing fine gravel, by a fastening angle (2). A welded tube (4) fitted into a welded flat bar (3) receives an axle integrated with a container (17). The fine gravel slides by gravity towards the end of the chute, and falls into the container, when the trailer is lifted. The container is adjusted by two chains (26), and a scoop is inserted into the container.

  The present invention makes it possible to empty the bucket of a truck from the ground with the aid of a shovel to grind the binder previously sprayed on the pavement of the roads.

  This process serves to plug holes, scrapes, collapses and other degradations as well as to reprofile the edges of roads and sidewalks.

  This operation is always done in reverse so as not to roll on the binder. The bucket is then raised to bring the materials backwards.   Once the dump lifted, and the door blocked, the chippings slide by gravity to the outside of the chute. In output, the given angle serves as a brake on the materials that fall into a mobile receiving tray where it is enough to use with a shovel so that they are renewed. The flap attached chute outlet also serves as a brake and prevents chippings from dispersing.

  The device according to the invention allows the gravel from the ground. It is no longer the interior of the bucket and materials. It allows the staff to work standing up, with the materials in shovel range which induces a lesser difficulty and considerably reduces the accident factor.

  FIG. 1 is a sectional view of the trough, entirely formed of iron sheet with a thickness of 4 mm.

  This chute has the shape of a rectangular tube. The starting angle (2) facilitates the sliding of the materials and by the same to lower its end, a welded flat iron (3) where is inserted a welded tube (4) to use a ring which receives the axis of the receiving tray.

  Figure 2 shows the chute provided with the fastener composed in the upper part of a welded flat iron (5) with a thickness of 8 mm. The sides (6) being formed of an angle of 5 mm thick welded to the chute with a cutout (7) which serves as a reinforcement.

  Figure 3 shows the opposite portion of the chute provided with its movable attachment (10). This attachment has the same characteristics as that of solidarity. It has 2 holes that allow to fix it to the chute and to receive the opposite part of the axis of the tray.

  In its upper part the angle (11) and lower (12) can lower the output of the chute to the maximum to put the material receiving tray at a reasonable height of a shovel held by hand once the bucket lifted.

  The angle (13) is intended to serve as a brake materials while facilitating their direction. The flap (14) also serves as a brake by ensuring the non-overflow at the front of the tray. It is fixed with a flat iron (15) and with 2 bolts.

  Figure 4 shows in section the receiving tray (17) made of iron sheet with a thickness of 4 mm.

  The rounded shape of the bottom of the tray (18) with a slight opening to the front (19) facilitates the penetration of the shovel. The sides (20) allow to contain the chippings and ensure a sufficient quantity available in the tray. The rear portion comprises a return (22) which is positioned in the axis (23) integral with the tray. At the front of the receiving tray, the sheet welded to the sides that make up the tray exceeds the sides, which allows to round the corners (24) to avoid injury.

  Figure 5 shows the bottom of the material receiving pan with holes (25) which serve to evacuate the water that could be contained in the chippings. They are also used to evacuate rainwater.

  Figure 6 shows the entire device of the invention provided with integral chains (26) of the receiving tray as it is designed.

  The device according to the invention is particularly intended for gravel from the ground by fleshing gravel stored in the bucket of a truck, which consists of reshaping parts of degraded pavement after having deposited binder.

  The device according to the invention mounted on either side of the bucket of a truck allows graveling to 2 people.

  The system can be quickly disassembled as maintained with only 6 bolts. It has 2 plates for closing the cut on the door not shown.

  The system can be adapted to all rear doors of a truck, and allows destocking the materials contained in the bucket without affecting the system.

  This device according to the invention allows a total effectiveness of the gesture without effort, found on the ground by a saving of gravel not insignificant for the circulation of vehicles. The system allows the removal of the specialized broom worker.

  The device as it is and designed respects the regulations of the Highway Code.

  With this system, more personnel perched on the materials in the truck dump subject to frequent stops and restarts. No more risks of tipping over the sides of the bucket. Disappeared back pain, since one works standing from the ground with the materials within reach of the shovel.

  Regarding safety: The vehicle always works in reverse so as not to roll on the binder.

  To secure the people who would work in the axis of the vehicle out of sight of the driver, a rearview camera must be installed that will compensate for the lack of visibility and the same can be used to visualize binder stains.

  For added safety, a reversing radar can be installed to alert the driver to an emergency stop if personnel are too close to the vehicle.
