La présente invention concerne le chaufage au bois des appartements par ses appareils entourés d'un carter métalliqueou d'une construction en maçànnerie surmontés d'une hotte et appelés inserts. L'air frais entre à la base de l'insert soit naturellement,soit sous l'effet d'une turbine. Il se réchauffe en montant le long du foyer et du tuyau à fumée et sort par une ouverture située en haut de la hotte.
