Abstract

The hook remover for a frozen belly of pork (2) placed on a panel (1) consists of a stop (4) that interacts with the end of the hook (3) and activates a detector (6) by means of a spring (7). The detector sets off an actuator (9) that pivots the hook removing assembly downwards, pullling it out of the pork belly so it can be easily recovered by an operative.

Description

The present invention relates to a device for removing

  automatically hooks stitched into frozen pork belly.

  The hook is traditionally removed manually which may result in the operator of musculoskeletal trauma.

  Generally the operation is performed on a pork belly that has a negative temperature to promote slicing operations on it.

  The device according to the invention makes it possible to remove the hook from the frozen breast without effort or complex manipulations.

  It has a drop zone of the pork belly with its hook.

  The operator must introduce the chest and its hook into the hook holding and detecting device. The low pressure transmitted by the operator to the chest plus hook assembly triggers a rotational movement for the purpose of pivoting the hook out of the chest. The hook thus released from the chest no longer exerts pressure on the detection device and the rotational movement is reversed to make the hook alone available to the operator.

  The attached drawing illustrates the invention: FIG. 1 represents in section the device of the invention. With reference to this drawing the device comprises a removal zone (1) which allows the introduction of the pork belly (2) with its hook (3) in the detection device. This device consists of a stop (4) sliding in a room (5) and activating a detector (6). This detector (6) allows the actuator (9) to rotate together formed parts (5), (4), (6) and (7) about the axis (8) while driving the hook ( 3). The spring (7) disengages the hook (3) from the detector (6) which reverses the movement of the actuator (9) .The assembly formed from the pieces (5), (4), (6) and ( 7) rotates about the axis (8) while raising the hook (3) alone.

Claims (1)

  Device for effortlessly removing the hooks of frozen pork breasts characterized in that it comprises a hook detection device consisting of a stop (4) sliding in a part (5) which holds the hook (3). This stop (4) compresses a spring (7) and activates the detector (6). This triggers, via the actuator (9), the downward rotation of the assembly formed by the parts (4) (5) (6) (7) driving with them the hook (3) freeing it, as a result of the pork belly (2). Thus released the hook (3) no longer exerts enough pressure to compress the spring (7). This returns the stop (4) to its initial position and deactivates the detector (6). That triggers the opposite effect by means of the actuator (9) which rotates upwards the set of parts (4) (5) (6) (7) carrying with them the hook (3). . The hook (3) is found alone in the plane of removal (1) to be recovered effortlessly by the operator.
